What is the difference between Titanium carbonitride and titanium nitride

Titanium carbonitride and titanium nitride have a certain difference, titanium carbon nitride mainly refers to titanium as a matrix to add carbon, nitrogen to form a new surface modification technology, while titanium nitride is a conductive ceramic material and the workpiece surface wear-resistant coating combined to form a surface treatment technology.

Titanium nitride carbide has excellent electrical conductivity, high temperature stability and corrosion resistance. Its hardness and strength are relatively low.
