In response to the demand of universities for materials design R&D and other scientific research, combined with the company’s technology-based development starting point, The company decided to carry out the “Hundreds of universities across the country Research miles” activity in 2024, to show the company’s new quality productivity in materials design R&D, pilot production and other aspects to the majority of professors and students in the materials field. At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Che Kunpeng introduced the leaders and teachers who participating in the meeting and the origin of the exchange, and gave a welcome speech, warmly welcoming to the arrival of Li Song, Director of Science and Innovation Bureau of Dingzhou Economic Development Zone, and Dr. Mu Jiangang, General Manager of Rich New Materials Ltd. Dr. Liu Ling, a teacher at the School of Humanities of Beijing University of Science and Technology and Deputy Director of the Science and Innovation Bureau of Dingzhou Economic Development Zone, Was Thanked for the work he had done for this conference.
The participants first watched the promotional video of the School of Materials. Professor Yin Chuanju, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, the University of Science and Technology Beijing, introduced the latest progress of the School of Materials in the field of new materials. Then Dr. Mu Jiangang, General Manager of Rich New Materials Ltd. introduced the history of Rich New Mateials Ltd. , research and development equipment and the advantages of the company, and showed the experts attending the meeting the material database of Rich, which has produced and developed nearly 4000 kinds of metals and alloys for customers, which is a valuable wealth and the basis for the development of new materials.
Afterwards, Dr. Mu Jiangang had a warm exchange with Professor Li Minghua, Professor Gu Xinfu, Professor Cao Yi, Professor Wang Chao, Professor Zhang Jiangshan and other teachers. The teachers shared their latest research results and academic developments in materials science research and industrial application, and shared their unique insights in materials science, engineering technology and other fields. They stressed that industry-university research and application cooperation is an important way to promote scientific and technological innovation and industrial upgrading, and hoped that the two sides could strengthen communication and cooperation and jointly promote progress in related fields. Li Song, Director of the Science and Innovation Bureau of Dingzhou Development Zone, introduced the good business environment of Dingzhou and warmly welcomed the School of Materials of Beijing University of Science and Technology to establish a production, university and research base in Dingzhou.
Dr. Mu Jiangang also shared with participants his the experience of studying and living in Beijing University of Science and Technology, and said that Dingzhou is very close to Beijing, located in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei one-hour traffic circle, and Rich New Materials Ldt. is very close to Beijing University of Science and Technology, hoping that the two sides will move around frequently, communicate frequently, and promote cooperation between the two sides.
