Chromium aluminum alloy target, as the name suggests, is a target made of chromium and aluminum alloy. Many friends are very curious about how this target is made. Now let’s technical experts from RSM to introduce the production method of chromium aluminum alloy target. The production steps are as follows:
(1) Select chromium powder with purity greater than 99.5wt% and aluminum powder with purity greater than 99.99wt% as raw materials. The particle size distribution range of chromium powder and aluminum powder is 100 mesh +200 mesh. Put them into the V-shaped mixer according to the required proportion, then vacuum the mixer to 10-1pa level, inject argon, then vacuum again, repeat for 3 times, and then set the speed of 10~30 rpm to mix for 5~10 hours;
(2) Put the powder after mixing into the cold isostatic pressing jacket, vacuum it and seal it. Press it under the pressure of 100mpa~300mpa for 10~20 minutes, and then place the pressed green body in the vacuum self extension high temperature synthesis furnace for self extension reaction. In the process of furnace washing, the vacuum degree is required to reach 10-3pa to obtain foam chromium aluminum alloy;
(3) The foam shaped chromium aluminum alloy is crushed into 200 mesh alloy powder with a crusher, and then the alloy powder is placed in the cold isostatic pressing jacket, sealed after vacuuming, and pressed under the pressure of 200mpa~400mpa for 30~60 minutes to obtain chromium aluminum alloy billet;
(4) The chrome aluminum alloy billet is placed in the ladle jacket for vacuum degassing treatment. After the treatment, the ladle jacket is placed in the hot isostatic pressing equipment for hot isostatic pressing sintering treatment to obtain the chrome aluminum alloy billet. The hot isostatic pressing sintering temperature is 1100~1250 ℃, the sintering pressure is 100~200mpa, and the sintering time is 2~10 hours;
(5) The chromium aluminum alloy ingot is machined to obtain the finished product of chromium aluminum alloy target.
